How to reuse plastic bottles

Ideas and products to reuse before you recycle.

So many things we use and dispose of everyday could have spent a little more time being useful before they became landfill.  How do you reuse a plastic bottle? I asked myself this question everytime I had to throw a plastic bottle away.  I’d always think about how long that drink that took me 10 seconds to consume would impact the world.   With the help of many contributor’s in the Quirky.com community, we’ve created a couple products that will help you find ways to reuse plastic bottles and even glass – before you recycle.

Petal Drops – Recycle, Reuse, and Rewater – This clever little rain catcher gathers rain water to water your plants.   Commit now and you’ll get a deal at only $4.50.

Soda Bottle Brush -  This is not the name.  The product doesn’t even have a name yet!  It’s still in development. But you can check it out and even contribute and earn a little money on the sale if you win.

Submit your own ideas too! If they win (even if you don’t) you’ll have a community of enthusiastic design genius helping you along the way.
